Fornaroli stays McLaren reserve for 2027 and joins its new WEC Hypercar line-up

McLaren announced that reigning Formula 2 champion Leonardo Fornaroli will race its MCL-HY Hypercar in the 2027 World Endurance Championship, including Le Mans, alongside Mikkel Jensen, Alex Lynn and Laurens Vanthoor. The 21-year-old Italian also keeps his role as reserve driver for the McLaren grand prix team next year.
